The WaterMat is AWESOME FUN! WaterMats are safe. Manufactured right here in the USA, both WaterMats are made out of durable, closed-cell polyethylene foam and reinforced with high tensile strength film. Although NOT designed for towing, WaterMats have no sharp edges, have no hard surfaces, will not splinter, and have no nails or screws that stick out and no pinching springs. As with any water toy, adult supervision and care-in-placement are required, but WaterMats are designed for good, safe fun.
